This is a delicious, light and super healthy mousse recipe ideal for snacks, yogurt replacements and even breakfast. Despite the word mousse, do not be misled into thinking that this is sweet. It isn’t. But it does have a really indulgent texture. You can certainly add more natural sweeteners to the recipe to take it into treat territory. It will still offer some great nutrients leaving it guilt free!
This should make enough for breakfast and some for a mid-afternoon snack.
1 tbs raw cacao
1 tbs Chia seeds
1-2 tbs Maple Syrup / rice syrup
1 cup Almond milk
1tsp Maca powder
2 Madjool dates
1 Pinch Pink Himilayan salt
Blend in a nutri-bullet
Sprinkle with Cacao nibs, crushed nuts and chia seeds.
